Last was / is a low profile powerpop-punk band from Los Angeles. Was the time not right or what, but it's nearly unbelievable that so few people know the great L.A. Explosion LP. Last was formed in 1976 by three Nolte brothers and the line up was: David Nolte (b,v), Joe Nolte (v,g,), Mike Nolte (v), Jack Reynolds (d) and Vitus Matare (kb). Backlash was their own label, which releases the early singles - She Don't Know Why I'm Here was later re-released by Bomb!. The second LP Look Again was recorded as demo and was pressed and sold privately - it was never available through the stores. Band split up 1985, but was re-formed in 1988 and line-up was now: Joe Nolte (v,g), Mike Nolte (v,kb), Luke Lohnes (g,v), Missy Buettner (b) and Robbie Rist (d).

For more information You can mail to Joe Nolte.
