PUNKNET 77 - Dickies

The Dickies was formed after the initial punk explosion of 1977 in Los Angeles. Line-up was: Stan Lee (guitar), Chuck Wagon (keyboards), Billy Club (bass), Karlos Kaballero (drums) and Leonard Graves Phillips (vocals). Basing their musical attack as well as their lyrical obsessions on early Ramones records, the Dickies played a speedy, hooky variation on standard three-chord rock.
Chuck Wagon made a solosingle Rock'n'Roll Want Go Away / Spy in My Face (A&M 7540B)) -79 and a suicide next year. R.I.P.
